‘Centre for Soft & Biological Matter’ is looking to fill a postdoc position in the broader area of soft actuators and soft robotic locomotion. In brief, the work will involve designing multi-responsive (light, solvent, etc.) hydrogels and polymers that actuate and undergo locomotion under different conditions. The candidate is expected to have a strong polymer/hydrogel synthesis and experimental characterization background (or related). It is desired, however, not compulsory to have experience in the area of soft actuators/sensors. The position will have opportunities to collaborate with multiple research groups within and outside the center.

Remuneration: 50k-70k /month depending on experience and
Duration: Initially for 1 year; can be extended after that based on performance.
